Nur Karadeniz is a celebrated design leader with profound expertise in creating human-centered services and products. Currently she is the Head of Experience and Strategy (EMEA & APAC) at Publicis Sapient, one of the world's largest digital consulting firms with over 20,000 employees in 50+ offices.
A specialist in Human-Computer Interaction, Nur is a former Innovation Design Director of the globally-renowned consultancy Fjord, which is part of Accenture. She worked at the BBC and the Guardian early on her career as a user experience professional. In addition, Nur led multidisciplinary design teams at six different prestigious creative studios.
Her client portfolio includes Vodafone, BP, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, American Express, UBS and many other global brands. Her work has garnered six patents and multiple awards, such as the BBC iWonder Experience Award and the D&AD Social Impact Award.
Nur teaches at various universities in Europe, Argentina and Singapore and she is writing a book on 'System Design' — an approach that brings design thinking and systems thinking to the creative process.
Furthermore, she supports impact startups as a mentor at Unreasonable Group. She was also a mentor at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) Accelerator last year.
Nur holds a MSc in Human-Computer Interaction with Ergonomics from UCL and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of London. She recently studied high impact leadership at the University of Cambridge.
