A multi-disciplinary designer and creative technologist, Arda Awais has years of experience in UX research and product design — currently working as an Experience Designer at a full-service digital agency in London.
In the past, she was a UX Researcher at Soho House where she built user personas from research and created wireframes to aid UI designers in delivering digital products.
At Hackmasters, which is a UK agency specialising in rapid prototyping and piloting of new technologies, Arda was a Creative Design Engineer serving the likes of Ernst & Young.
As a Medical Product Designer at DePuty Synthes (part of Johnson & Johnson), she collaborated with hip surgeons to develop new product concepts and created physical models via 3D printing.
In addition, Arda is the co-founder of Identity 2.0 — a creative studio working at the intersection of digital rights, technology and identity. One of their initiatives was seen in MIT Tech Review in June 2020.
As part of her role at First Step Consulting, she is ready to help our clients design new digital and physical products that offer outstanding user experiences.
Arda holds a BEng in Design, Innovation and Creative Engineering from the Queen Mary University of London.
